Grow in Faith – The Need for New Evangelizers

In 2010 Pope Benedict XVI established the Pontifical Council for Promoting New Evangelization.

In July 2011, the newly named President of this council, Archbishop Salvatore Fisichella, said the “new evangelization cannot be carried out without New Evangelizers.”

In October 2012, not only will the “Year of Faith” begin, as proclaimed by our pontiff, but the October 2012 bishops synod will meet with a focus on New Evangelization.

The New Evangelization, at it’s root, is a re-evangelization, a re-presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and our need to not only embrace this message more firmly, but to share it with others with a renewed zeal.

New Evangelizers enthusiastically encompasses these areas — spirituality, new media, catechesis.

That’s why we place our emphasis in three areas: Know the Faith.  Live the Faith.  Share the Faith.

All of the initiatives of New Evangelizers, including the spirituality aspects of our Rosary Army and Total Consecration missions, are vitally important to the New Evangelization.  The New Evangelization is not just about using New Media, or going to foreign countries, or reaching the young.

It is about all these things…and more.

Join us as we embark on this exciting new evangelization.
